The Goal : The 32 Counties of Ireland

One of our main goals for the Around Ireland Summer of 2006 project is to visit every one of the 32 counties of Ireland.

For those of you with geo-politicial math confusion, that would be the 26 counties of the Republic of Ireland and the 6 counties of Northern Ireland.

26 + 6 = 32

We have skeptics amongst us, but I think we are going to make it.  Since I started this site in May 2006, I have visited Co. Louth, Co. Meath, Co. Dublin (live there), Co. Wicklow, Co. Kildare, Co. Westmeath, and Co. Offaly.

Shonagh and I are going to Co. Wexford and possibly Waterford tomorrow.  Jasper is going to Co. Sligo this weekend for the Sligo Agricultural Fair.  And I am going to Belfast this weekend (Co. Down) with a small drive up to Co. Antrim on Sunday to investigate Larne a bit more.

I think we will hit all 32 by the end of August.  What do you think?
